 Board of Occupational Therapy Members

John Tutelman has worked for the Phoenix City Prosecutor’s Office for more than 23 years. He is the Bureau Chief for the Appeals and Community Prosecution Bureaus. 

He served on the Scottsdale Human Relations Commission from 2002 to 2008 and was a member of the Phoenix Police Department’s Hate Crimes Advisory Board and the United States Attorney’s Hate Crimes Working Group.
Throughout his career, John has been active in instructing judges, lawyers, and citizens on a variety of law-related subjects. John’s work has been commended by the City of Los Angeles, the Phoenix City Prosecutor’s Office of Victim Services, and the Arizona Prosecuting Attorney’s Advisory Council, among others. In March, 2009 John appeared before the Arizona Supreme Court.
John is a graduate of U.C.L.A. and Southwestern University School of Law.  
Donny earned his B.A. in Occupational Therapy from Keuka College in 2002. He received his advanced masters degree in Occupational Therapy in 2008 from A.T. Still University in Mesa, Arizona and continued his educational journey, earning his Doctor of Occupational from Chatham University in the spring of 2013.
Donny is the owner of Don,s Occupational Therapy Services, LLC and has worked in the school, clinic and home health care settings. Donny has over 12 years of pediactric experience and has worked with children with a variety of dissabilities with a primary focus on improving functional performance. His capstone dissertation focused on the importanceof home programs and the effectiveness of carry over from the clinic/school setting to the home environment. He is an advocate for functional independence for his clients and their families.
Beth received her Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from Tufts University. She received her Master of Arts in Community Psychology from the Sage Colleges. Beth will earn her Post-Professional Doctorate in Occupational Therapy (Pediatric Science Track) from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions in August of 2013.
Currently, Beth is the owner and clinical director of Fiesta Pediatric Therapy in Phoenix AZ. Her clinical practice focuses on children with neuromotor and sensory processing challenges. She directs a staff of 20+ therapists who treat children with a wide variety of diagnostic conditions. Beth has been a pediatric OT for the past 30 years. She has heald a range of posistions including clinical instructor for a Masters level OT program for over 15 years. She is a guest lecturerfor Midwestern University's occupational therapy program.
Beth has been an invited speaker at local, state and national OT conferences.
Beth and her husband are residents of  Phoenix. They have two adult sons who both live and work in the Alanta GA area.

Karen is currently the President of Essential Training Workshops, LLC. Her focus is on soft skill training, such as stress management, goal setting practices and mentoring processes. She is an author and developer of original training programs. 

In addition to serving on the Board, Karen is a volunteer and workshop leader for the Breast Cancer Society. She is also a volunteer for an underpriviledged, underserved elementry school in the Murphy School District. She has served as a member of the leadership team for the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine and Health Sciences, where she volunteers on a project basis as needed. Karen was named "Woman of the Year" for 2012-2013 by the National Assocciation of Professional Women.

Karens education includes a Bachelor of Arts from Catholic University of America, a Master in Education from Michigan State University with a concentration in Curriculum and Instruction and an Advanced Certificate as a Training Specialist from Georgetown University.

Karen is a resident of Scottsdale Arizona, has three sons and loves to travel. As a dependent of a career military officer, Karen has had the opportunity to travel and reside in a foreign country. She believes that learning should be fun.
